I have a pair of keyed alike lifejackets for AR-15s. Read about them here (http://www.pentagondefense.com/lj-4.html). Your AR must have a delta ring and carry handle or optics which will not interfere with the closing of the jacket for these to work. These will be shipped free to one lucky poster (continental US only).
I have preselected a number. This number corresponds to a post in this thread. Each member may post up to 3 times in this thread. The poster who's post is the chosen number wins. Good luck.

So, why are you giving these away?
Do you make them? Never heard of them.
Well heck, I'd like one of those if possible. Nice of you to offer it up
Should fit my Bushmaster 20". It's an A3 but I only use the iron sights on the handle anyhow (post entry number 2 hehehehe)

Just had a couple of extras that I had no room for. They are new, never used. They have some storage marks on them. They don't fit my Troy railed upper or my LMT Mono which is on the way. I suppose I could hang onto them for the next black rifle, but I don't see a delta ringed rifle in my future.
I have no affiliation with them other than the fact that I have used a couple of others over the years. I included the others with the rifles when I traded them, and I left one attached to the studs in the closet of a house I sold.
I'm giving them away to be nice.

Alright, I guess I'll try......
Hard to beat a deal like that.
An opportunity that is well worth the investment.

edit-
If a high number has been chosen, this might take a while.... slow thread. (Didn't want to waist my 3rd post, so I'm editing my second....:animlol: )
Would they work on a A3 with carry handle?

Put me in the hat please, can't ever be too safe!
First time I've seen those. Can they be used with a roof rack or a trunk rack?

Semi-popular, hard-plastic security sheath which encloses the critical controls and operating parts of firearms. Impact and heat resistant. They work as advertised. Sold at Walmart and various sporting goods retailers.
I did a lengthy eval on them with destructive testing, but it's been several years. It might be available via search.

Looks like we are getting down to the wire...They should fit an A3 just fine BTW. I think lifejackets are great for that extra layer of security in soft sided range bag...I started using them back when I had more ARs than hard sided cases.

Yes, I'd like in on this!!
AWWW! Too late.
Very cool indeed. Sorry for the delay... 12.5 hours on Tue and 14 hours on Wed kept me away from the PC to even check on things.
I told BigFatDog in my PM reply that I guess karma did play a big role in this as I have given away a lot of stuff on another forum under the "Pay it forward" concept, so what goes around, did come around.
Thanks again. I've got a brand new Bushie that will wear this with pride.

Has anyone heard from BigFatDog lately? We've swapped about a dozen PMs since Jan for him to get the lifejackets to me, but I've not heard anything back from him since around the beginning of this month. Did he have a family emergency, medical issue, anything? Does anyone know him from any other forums that he participates on? I'm not in a position to complain because after all they are free and he was giving them away so please don't take it that way.
I'll throw my hat in the perverbial ring.
