First trip to range for New DLC PM9-VC6XXX

First trip to the range for my new DLC PM9 (VC6XXX) was a huge success. I shot 100 rounds of Remington 115GR FMJ with no problems of any sort. After hearing all the accounts of FTEs, FTFs, lack of battery, etc, etc, I am really pleased to not have a single problem at all. On my next trip, I will mix in some carry ammo.

For the pre-range cleaning and lube, I didn't do anything fancy. I cleaned and lubricated with CLP, let it sit a few weeks, racked the slide about a hundred times, and cleaned and lubed again.

I had the same experience at the range with my new CW9. I did use assorted ammo including two different weight HPs and it fed everything like a swiss watch. I put about 270 rounds down the pipe in one sitting without cleaning it. In fact, after all those rounds it wasn't very dirty. Put another 50 or so .45 balls down range too and for the first time actually wore my wrist out. My hand was shaking bigtime by the end of the day.

Can't wait to do it again tommorow ;)
