i have searched and i cant seem to find the right thread on which way i need to adjust my sights.
basically when my sights are dead straight, or to my best judgment, my shots are off a lot. i have to compensate by aiming my front sight a bit to the left to hit dead straight.
which way do i need to move the rear to make it shoot straight??
thanks in advance,
-josh
edit:
i have mepros sights and for my to shoot straight i need to aim like this...

edit2:
i just may have solved it myself, i need to move my rear sights more to the left, correct?
You got it!
Same would go, to a point, for elevation...
But keep yourself honest! If your sights look a little too personalized :freak: , refer to the attached... It is a shooting analysis target for a right-handed shooter, compliments of a GT member.
Good luck!

You move the rear sight in the direction you want the point of impact to move. If the bullets hit left of point of aim you want to move the impact to the right so move the rear sights to the right. Up and down are similar.
Except that he indicates he's putting front sight POA left of POI, to shoot straight...

Here's a fish:
So, he is aiming left to hit center. Means he is hitting too far right if he aims center. To move the point of impact to the left, i.e., to the center, move the rear sight to the left.

Thanks for the fish! ;)
Now, what will I eat tomorrow? Clearly it won't be fish!
Anyway, now you're addressing what he actually illustrated!
