Well, I have had one trip to the range with my new PM9 I picked up a couple days before Christmas. It is serial # VC4*** so it is supposed to have all the latest fixes applied. It is functioning flawlessly so far with the first 50 rounds through it. No jams at all.
However, when I examined the fired cases I am finding what I would consider to be significant bulges from just in front of the rim at the web and entending toward the case mouth for about 1/4". None of my other Kahr's do this and neither do my 1911's. I am wondering if the barrel on my PM9 was cut incorrectly so that the case is NOT being supported fully.
Has anyone else seen this. To be honest, no cases have ruptured but it leaves me a bit unnerved seeing that prominent bulge on every case.
I have a call into Kahr, but I haven't heard back from them yet. What do you guys think. Have any of you seen this with a Kahr before?
Thanks,
