I am heading into law enforcement and so need to put these on. I know that several companies advertise in the gun rags, but is there a
leader in the field? Is there really any difference?
Hi,
Trijicon or Ameriglo Classic (which are just OEM'd Trijicon). Check out www.glockparts.com for prices. I think if you send your slide to www.glockparts.com they will put them on for you...
Good Luck,
Alan

Meprolights are the best for the money, and dont lose the white rings like Trijicons.
Trijicons are overrated. IMO.

I'm a big fan of the TRUGlo Tritium/Fiber Optics as they are probably the brightest sites on the market day or night! Low profile sang resitant design and available Green/Green or with a Green/Yellow combination. They're also easy to install yourself. Don't laugh but I've found the best place to get them is eBay($80), which is 10-20% less than most retailers are charging for them.
Basic TRU GLO Meps are $60something from Midway. Bright and durable.

The TRUGLO Tritium/Fiber give you the best of both worlds.....Light Gathering Fiber Optics for day shooting and Tritium Powered Fiber Optics for night time.
FWIW- I've had Meps on all of my GLOCKS and they seem to work very well and stay bright over the years.

I have had Meps, Trijicons and the factory glock night sights. Out of the three I like the trijicons. Are the Meps just as good, yeah. And even the Glock sights get the job done. The only thing I don't like about the factory glock sights is the light isn't as focused as the other two. I have also had a sig with their nightsights on it and they were focused too.

Ditto.
I have tried Mepros, I have Trijicons one gun, I have the big dot with the low profile rear (can't remember what they are called) and I recently put a set of Heine straigh eights on my G29.
Hands down I love the Heine sights. They are easy to see in the day time, and I can see them at night just fine. What ever you get, get a different color front sight than the rear.
I see a lot of guys that get them mixed up and shoot left or right of their targets at night.

Has any one heard of the Wilson Combat night sights for the Glock?
I am personaly leaning towards those, because I love them on my CQB. I also think it would be good to have the same sight picture on two pistols.
I would be awsome if people posted pics of their sight picture to aid those who are shopping for them.:)

Meprolights are good (rings don't wash out). Go Orange rear, Green front. Trijicons ARE overrated. If you go Glock-brand, make sure that they are FACTORY installed.
