Just found a NIB Ruger P89DAO today at my local dealer. Don't know where its been hiding but according to the Ruger website serial number history its dates to 1996. :shocked: You can easily tell its never been fired and packed full of factory grease, still gotta clean it up. My dealer said it came through a regular distributor shipment. I've been looking for one of these for some time since we use them at my institution and wanted one to have as my own.
Anyone own one and what do you think of them? I'll admit to liking my G19 and SIG 228 better, but I honestly can't knock the P89DAO. Its never failed me at work during training and they go forever.:supergrin: Most of the ones I saw at Glynco (FLETC) had around 4-500,000 rounds through them with only occasional small parts replacement I was told.
