Glock-N-Awe

I recently mounted a SF X200B on my G21:hearts: The Trijicons are on the way...and I thought while I'm pimpin' out my house gun, I'd go ahead and add the remote switch to the light.
My quandry...
Which style of switch is desirable from a tactical or ease of use stand point (home defense) and why. This will be an on-line purchase and thus, no ability to go "hands on".
As far as I can discern from the various product descriptions, the SL-11 wraps (slightly) more than the DG-11, whose switch/pad is smaller and more centrally located.
BOTH say "activate" without moving a finger blah...blah...blah.
Is it just a preference for feel between the two, or which finger activates the pad?
Thoughts appreciated.
