Anyone have the fieldstrip instructions for an SKS? I just got a Norinco SKS unissued and it had everything with it except the instruction manual .I am new to the SKS's so dont make fun of me if they normally dont come with them . I just want to know how to fieldstrip it and then how to do a detail strip to remove the 2 pounds of cosmoline it has on, in and around it ! Thats gooy stuff but it sure kept this rifle in good shape .Any help is appreciated.

Then you won't need to use the web if you need it again. "File", "Save As", choose the location, name the folder, hit "save", then it will be on your machine. For files that won't save that way, you can always copy the text and use the "notepad" to create a text file.

Surplusrifle.com has a nice set of instructions that I used to take my SKS apart and clean it, and I had never even handled an SKS before.
The instructions are easy to understand, and they come complete with detailed pics.

a quick tip, when you go to put the trigger group back in make sure the safety is on otherwise it will not seat into the stock
