View Full Version : Light rail on Glock 26/27
Does anyone know if Glock has plans to eventually put a Light Rail on the Glock 26/27 frames?

Doubt it. The idea is to keep it small for concealment. Hard to conceal with a light on the end of it.

Exactly, it would defeat it's original purpose. I just carry a good light like a SF L4 or E2E.

Surefire 6P.
At a recent Gun Show, I saw several Pistols that would be considered competition for the mini Glocks. They had the Light rails. Two in particular were the mini version of the Smith and Wesson M&P Series, and, the Springfield Micro .45.The rails were just big enough for the small Tac Lights (X-2 ?).
I thought a small light on the Glock 26 or 27 would be cool for a nightstand Pistol, especially for an overnight stay in a Hotel room.My Department issue model 21 has a light for SWAT use.I also bought Streamlights for my model 19 and 23.
When checking something out at night,it is nice to have the light right on the handgun.Particulary when your head is still "Fuzzy", and time is critical.
