Also interested in the 9x25. Doubletap used to offer 9x25 barrels, now they don't. I quick check over at Lone Wolf shows no 9x25 barrels.
Anyone know of any sources now?
Because with Doubletap making the ammo, it'd be a fun little gun!
Wonder what the recoil characteristics of the 9X25 rd. would be in the 20 or the 29 ?? (I have the 20)
Edit to add: anybody offer brass ??

The barrels Mike was selling were Bar-sto(if memory serves), so I'm sure you can still purchase them from the source. I would expect the difference in recoil to be very similar to the differences between the .40 and .357SIG, when fired from the same platform. The 9x25 should have a bit more "snap", becuse the impulse is quicker. There will be no more recoil per se, but the impulse will be quicker, which can be perceived as "more" recoil. Starline sells 9x25 brass(last time I checked).

The 2100 FPS 90 Gold Dot DT loading was my favorite. The gun cycled so fast that it was easier to keep the sights on target.
But, the best part of these "Hyper-velocity" rounds is the terminal ballistics. I think Mike's comment was "They blow stuff up." I wish he still made them.
My only expierence was with a 10 lb coon. It was chasing the cats one night; and snarled at me instead of running away. One round COM flattened him. I now keep the critter mag loaded with these!

If you shoot indoors, the R.O. will probably hate you. The muzzle blast is kind of fierce !
I know USPSA R.O.'s who despise the 9x25, even at outdoor matches. It tends to be kind of a boomer.
Need to try a lg frame Glock for USPSA open division using a comp. In a 1911 platform w/comp, the recoil comes straight back, gave some shooters "tennis elbow" & lost favor because it gave up round count in the mag to the .38 super guns. Since the power factor was dropped to 165, the need for the 9x25 became a moot point, as the supers could make that level without too many K.B,'s.
That was the real developmental reason for the 9x25.
