I was very hot for a G33 and was very close to making the purchase untill I stumbled into this section of the Glock forum and saw a pic of kraigster414's Sig 239. So now I need to know why I should go with one over the other. Can you switch barrels on the 239 for different calibers like you can with the G33?

Both great and have both.
Yes, my 239 does .357 and .40 calibers.
So enjoy either way.

FYI- the P239 mags are different between the two calibers.

hmmm, I didn't know the mags were different. Im still undecided on what to get. I need someone to tell me whats better about one over the other.

I own both and the P239 with Hogue rubber grips really absorbs the recoil of the .357 Sig round better than the G33. However, the G33 is lighter and easier to conceal than the P239.

Hope this somewhat helps.

I really like the look of the 239 with the Nill grips that someone had recently posted.

The P239 is an extremely accurate pistol.

I have them both also. The .357 Sig is inherently accurate out of both. I have the .40 barrel for the 239 but its accuracy is somewhat lacking. As I mentioned in another thread, my G33 gets better groups than my G32. While there is nothing finer than a Sig Sauer pistol, I lean toward the G33 for its smaller size, lighter weight and greater capacity for CCW, especially in warm weather. The 239 works great when easier to conceal, like when wearing a jacket or additional clothing during cold weather.:dancing:

Same gun as above but in its working attire. Hogue rubber panels and Tucker Texas Heritage IWB.
