Spent 4 years in the CG, 1956 -1960 on Lake Superior.Served on the CGC Woodrush.engineman 2nd class.Also light house keeper at Split Rock Light on minnesota's north shore and Devils Island on the south shore. Had a great time.I'm sure a lot has changed in the CG since I was in it.Its a great service.:thumbsup:

Well in that case, tell BM2 Martin I said hello. We were stationed together in Kenosha before he went to the gulf. One of my favorite drinking partners.:thumbsup:

HAHA no way, I was in the gulf with Marty, we were on the same boat over there and roomates and then we both ended up at the MSU.

That guy is one of the funniest bastards I have ever met in my life. I used to give him a hard time about the whole menanite/amish thing. I have been trying to get a hold of him but everytime I call there he is out of the office or on leave or somewhere.:thumbsup:

Yeah he has been TAD quite a bit and on leave. I give him a load of crap all the time about the same stuff. He is a trip though. We will be in the office tomorrow morning going out for a boarding sometime tomorrow though
