I like what I have read about this gun and I am seriously considering buying one. The only thing I don't like is the hammer. Can these hammers be replaced with a delta style hammer from say McCormick or Wilson or Brown?

All of the parts should be able to be swopped out...

or swapped, and it would be an easy way to remove the Taurus safety system that is mounted on the hammer if that's your thing

That is why I was not sure if they could be replaced because of the extra safety. Thanks.

it would be an easy swap-out if you have some 1911 expierence or a good local gunsmith

Get the Taurus. It's a great gun for the money. I have a range report on this forum if you care to check it out.
Range Report (http://glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=636463) The range report has pics and my honest opinion and experiences with the gun.
As far as the hammer safety goes, its not pretty but it doesn't get in the way. While shooting it, you will forget that its there. If you want to customize it though, it shouldn't be hard to remove.
Feel free to ask me any questions, or other users on the forum who actually own one.
