Does anyone know a source for lead-free 10mm ammo? Thinking of taking a course at Thunder Ranch and want to take my G20.

Do they require "unleaded" ammo ?
If so, they probably have it for a "price".
Check w/Mike at DoubleTap.

Found this:

About half way down the page it lists 10mm Auto. Might be worth a call. Remington's site does not list any "lead-free" 10mm loads. Might consider a conversion barrel for the course and then shoot .40. While it is not the same thing, there appears to be an abundance of lead free range ammo in that loading.

Find the bullets and I bet you could work something out with Mike loading them to your specs.
Here are a couple links to other sites that list either information or ammo:

Sorry, the list is a little short. A Google search will return a selection of hits, though not completely helpful. I've a friend that a short time ago gifted me 500-plus pieces of 10mm brass. All were fired through a H&K MP, as they all exhibited the fluted markings on the case. Some of these were Federal NT(small primers).
Good luck on your search.
Federal no longr produces either of their frangible/leadfree rounds in 10mm....I tried to get some last year for my G20 to use in a no-lead range. Federal/ATK rep said they'd need an agency order for something like 10k+ rounds to even think about producing some more of it.
I've tried to get PMC Green 10mm ever since they came out with it...never even seen a box of it.
AFAIK I'd spend the dough and buy a 40SW barrel and buy 40SW ammo. It'll be a lot cheaper and quicker than trying to source/load a bunch of 10mm for the class.
Lastly I checked with TTI Armory (good frangibles and other cool stuff) a while back; no 10mm rounds catalogued and they were not interested in producing any 10mm ammo.
