Applied for my C&R

Sent the forms out Monday morning. Just hope its not too long of a wait.

Planning on getting a 91/30 to start and after that will probally have to move to the shed when the wife finds out whats in the long boxes that keep coming in the mail.:supergrin:

Will probally pick up something at a local gun show this weekend to tide me over till the license gets here....if I can find a nice enough one. Wanting to change out the stock on a 91/30 to a synthetic one and try to make a tack driver.

Would it be possible to float the barrel/bed the action on one of these rifles? Would it help?

Did you send to the Atlanta Ga PO Box address? I thought I saw somewhere that there was a screw up with addresses?
Just curious, got my papers and they are going out in the mail tomorrow.

Yeah I sent mine to the Atlanta address. Almost used the downloadable forms off of the Cruffler site but was doing some searching and found another site with info on filling the forms out and it said that they had new forms. So I went to the BATF site and ordered the correct ones....was here within a week. Just wish it would be that quick to get the license.

Yea Thats what I did too. ordered mine straight from the ATF site. They came in 5 days(fast for government work) I am sending them off tomorrow. I hear alot of ohio guys have got theirs back in 3 weeks, not sure how NC stuff works. I know in NY the ATF comes to your house for a visit before your approved. Um, Shooter, no offense but you're not entirely accurate there lol, I got my C&R license after about 3 weeks here in NY with no black Tahoe's or visits from "G-Men"

Possibly in NYC they might make house calls due to the severe restrictions on firearms in the city.

Edit: I got the license recently, in mid December actually, so my information is current.

Well......my C&R came today :banana: Mailed out the application Jan8th and recieved my license in todays mail...Jan 25th. 18 days start to finish.

Now the fun begins...... :supergrin:

Yea I think your right.I think it was just NYC. I was just going on what I read on different boards. Good to hear yours came quick. I mailed mine on the 17th so maybe I'll see it soon.
