1) Where is the cheapest place online to order Kahrs from?
2) What is the difference between the K40 Elite and the Kahr K40 DLC besides the color?
3) How about the T40? Any experience?
Thank you. I have a local dealer that will match any price I can show him. I also heard the trigger may be different between the Elite and the DLC, that's my concern there. I have a PM9, P9 and P45 already but want something heavier for practice. I may trade my P9 in on a P40.

The differences between the K40 Elite and the K40 DLC are as follows. The K40 Elite has a polished slide, a beveled magwell and some beveled edges on the slide. The K40 DLC does not have these but has the DLC finish. I consider the differences to be mostly cosmetic.
All current production Kahrs have the Elite trigger, with the exception of the K9 with the NYCPD Trigger. The NYCPD trigger is the old non-Elite trigger. Shortly after Kahr came out with polymer models, they made the decision to put the Elite Trigger in all Kahrs they produced. They later made an exception the K9, because the NYCPD wanted to authorize the K9 as a backup or off duty carry gun but not with the Elite Trigger. The difference between the Elite and non-Elite Trigger is the length of travel. The Elite's is 3/8 in and the NYCPD's is 1/2 in.
The T40 is like the K40 but bigger, wood grips and no DLC available. The Wood Grips are the only grips available for the T40, while wood grips can be added to the K40, K40 DLC or K40 Elite.
FYI - I found myself allergic to the Wood grips for my MK40, and at this time Kahr is the only source for Wood Grips.
I have never ordered a firearm online, so I can't help with question 1.
I bought my Kahr through Guns America for $580 including shipping.
I typicallty see the lower prices there as opposed to Gunbroker or what have you.
