View Full Version : DT range ammo,My 1st 10
I got a G20 yesterday and would like to know what DT ammo would be good for the range? This is my first 10mm I want to see what the deal is.Recoil doesn`t bother me.Thanks
Well, the 180 grain match ammo is intended for the range. I would also try something heavy, a 200 grainer or up, and a box of 135 grain bullets, to see the full range of the 10 mil.
Of course, he does have sampler packs...
Welcome to the wonderful world of the 10x25!
I believe that DT has only one "practice" ammo, the 180's. They're not too-too pricy. I use the Blazer 200's from Acadamy for <$13.
Not saying that the DT wouldn't be a fine range/practice ammo but it's simply ecconomics for me. I do shoot quite a bit of the DT 180gr. XTP load, though. It's my hunting load and it shoots great.
