I realise the issue of no 10mm mags, what if you bent the lips on the 36 mags?
That would give you a slim framed 10mm subcompact with a 6-7 rnd mags, hmm something to think about.

I believe that the G36 frame and slide are both thinner than the G29 frame and slide.
So the answer is no. The G29 slide would be too wide for the G36 frame rails. Good thought, though.

I thought I read on here some where that:
A: the G29 and G30 uppers were interchangable
B: The G36 and the G30 uppers were interchangable
SO it should reason that:
C = the G29 is interchangable with the 36.
Granted I am guessing here based on the fact that I read of people exchanging G30 and 36 uppers between the guns.

If the 30 and 36 uppers were in fact interchangeable, it stands to reason that your idea would work.

:offtopic:
I appreciate the Glock for their ability to cross-dress, or "cross-Glock" as I call it.
My G-27 (.40) regularly houses the G-33's (.357) barrel; works like a champ!
its like having two Glocks for the price of 1 and a 3rd (1 1/3)
