I went ahead and traded in my G37 for a used 3rd Gen G21. I gave it a good look over and it's in great shape. Normal wear on the front (top) of the barrel, but that's all I noticed. It's coming in the older style box. I'm not certain how old it is yet. As soon as I have the serial number, I'll see if I can find out how old it is. I have it in lay-a-way still. I wasn't planning on getting it today, but he had this used one w/ night sights for less than a new one with standard sights (which is what I was planning on getting). This was from a gun show last weekend. A friend of the sellers had traded this G21 in. Standard sights was $535 NIB. Total for mine was $520. Right around what I wanted to spend, minus trade too.
The pistol felt fine to me. Just right, is how I would explain it. Compared to my old G37, sure it felt different. But, that's only because I'm used to my G37 and G19 frames. I never realized how big the magazine is. I traded the five GAP mags I had, so I'll need to get three more 13-rounders to bring myself up to where I was with the last gun. Of course, I'm happy that I can now use +P! Plus, I'm going from 50+1rds in my GAP to 65+1rds w/ the G21. Don't worry, however, I'll buy more mags. As soon as I bought the G37, I kind of kicked myself for doing it. I should of just bought the G21 in the first place...
