My wife likes my glocks but the problem we ran into is she is so skinny that it prints and she also likes the grip of a G19 but the length of a G26. We were looking around and we came across a new CW9 on sale for $420. What else do I need to get her? Where can I get mags and holsters for IWB and OWB?

I carry a Glock 26 with 147 grain HSTs, I am thinking she might need 124 grain golddots or HST. She is 107 pounds and 5'6 and she handles a Glock 20 pretty well so I think she can handle this just as well.

How did we do? We tryed the XD-9 sub and compact, M&P 9 sup and compact, SW99, Berrta 3000S, Glock 19, and Glock 26 before the CW-9. Just the CW-9 is right inbetween the G19 and G26. If Glock had a slimmer 9mm then I know she would have gotten that.

As far as price goes....you did alright. I picked mine up last month for $380 at a gun show. I like IWB holsters and for the vaule you can not beat Don Hume holsters for like $25. I also got a High Noon Holster split decision that can not been seen at all when shirt is tucked in. Extra mags can be found on ebay for about $25 and also if you have a sportsmans warehouse near you, the normally carry them in stock for about $28. I think she will like it a lot!

You did well. Just buy factory mags not the cheap ones on ebay. High noon holster is a good choice. I relly like my CW9.

What ammo do you carry? Just trying to get a good feel on what I should get for her.

135 gr Federal Hydrashoks low recoil is what I carry in my CW9.

I've never had a problem with Gold Dots in any gun, ever. They consistently expand nearly as well in tests as the rounds you have to buy off the 'net (Winchester Ranger T and Federal HST)...

I like Speer. Particularly the 124-gr +p. :)

As far as holsters go... try looking at High Noon Holsters. I bought two of their Split Decisions; one for my Kahr CW-40 and one for my Keltec P-11. Heck of a good deal for a leather IWB/Tuckable.

Gold Dots 14.95 per 50 124+P. Good Price? At LEO stores I get HST for less than that price just that is back in and around my parents and I only visit them twice-three a year.
