Wondering if I should get a Kahr PM9 in Stainless finish, or the blackened Tungsten DLC on SS. Anyone has experience with the finish? Does it wear well?

I think it's the best factory finish available. I had a PM9 that I carried daily for 7 months and it showed no sign of wear.

My P45 with the DLC is doing just fine -- no visible wear at all after carrying a couple of days a week for a few months.
I've only had my PM9 with DLC slide for a few days, but I love the finish.

The DLC finish on my PM9 is showing no signs of wear.
I use it for daily carry in summer and for mountain biking and while dirtbike riding and jogging.
Occasionally I will clean up the marks from my iwb kydex holster from the slide and rediscover its still a blemish free black.
Kahr has a much more wear resistant finish than my Sprinfield 1911 Compact, HK P2000SK or Walther P99.
Finish on my DLC P9 is still mar free.....after 1 year of IWB (leather) and OWB (Fobus)....Love that little pistol!
I have one tiny dot, like the diameter of a sewing needle, of bare metal on the sharp edge of the front sight dovetail. I don't know if it's from holstering or if the weapon took a ding somewhere. I keep the gun wiped down, though, and have never seen rust there.
