Hi guys,

I'm looking for some direction and a starting point to find a gas cylinder and piston for a Chechoslovokian squad type machine gun.

It fires 7.92mm German ammo and the nomenclature on the weapon is:

Lehky-Kulomet ZBV2.26
Ceskoslovenska Zbrojovka
Akciova Spolecnost
BRNO

If anyone knows where in the hell on the Interweb I should look for this, please help me out.

:headscratch:

I figured I'd try Glock Talk first, since there seems to be a forum for everything ya need to know in life.

Thanks!

You might check the parts list for the British Bren guns. I believe they are very similar designs.

Might be interchangeable and labeled in English.

Okay, that won't work. The 26 has a full length gas system, the L4 only goes halfway.

ima-usa.com has some parts. International Military Antiques.

It's a start. Good luck.

Are you looking in a book or at a website?

My buddy has a book that shows the gun and the Brits did use that gun from which to style the Bren.

the BREN was a joint venture b/w the czechs and the british. BREN is a shortening of the names of the 2 places that worked together. BRno & ENfield
