Question About 100 Design

Saw a 100 and 101 today. Very impressed. Do not like S&W because of the lock on side. Did Ruger do anything like that I am missing when I look at these? For target shooting I am leaning toward the 4 or 6 inch version.

Do you mean the safety lock located near the cylinder latch on the S&W's? If so...no, Ruger doesnt have them on the GP100s and 101s...yet. You never know what holds for the future tho.:thumbsup: I believe they have some models that have some kind of lock under the grips, but not 100% sure. Nor have I heard of complaints of them.

You should call Ruger up or emil them and they will tell you about no lock on either GP100 or the SP101. Rich17z,Omaha,Ne.:banana:
