View Full Version : Buy-backs in PA?
I'm looking to get rid of 2 old shotguns and I'm considering a buy-back to get rid of them. They are functional, but I'm not using them and I'm not sure anyone would even buy them. Anyone know of any where in PA that does buy-backs?
don't melt down those shotties! you'll get $50 for the pair and the world will lose them. post some info on them, I'm sure someone will want them.
In all the buy backs I've seen, you need to be a resident of the town/city/county doing it. Why not check with your local gun shop? They may know someone who would give you a few bucks for them.
Not to long ago I had a thread here about this. It was the Harrisburg buy back. Basically you needed to be a resident of the city. They check. What they wanted was homies gun but what they got was grannies gun.
If you must rid yourself of these guns send them to me or let me know when you will be in the Harrisburg ares and I'll meet you somewhere.
I'll give you $50 for the pair.
Selling guns to Buy-Back Programs? :nutcheck:
Check if your local gunshop will take guns on consignment. Sometimes there is a minimum fee - one shop I deal with is 10% or $35 whichever is higher. But still for a functional shotgun should be able to get $70 and a quick sale - $35 for you and $35 for the shop under my example. I would not sell to buyback because antigunners will just use success of buyback to promote their anti gun agenda.
Don't you have faith that the truth will come out. Namely that they don't work for reducing crime, they just get junk and it wastes resources of the anti's.
I've been looking for a junk shotgun for awhile please PM me. If i remember correctly, you're from the Pittsburgh area, right?
criminals dont take there guns to buy backs, good people like yourself do, therefore gun buybacks dont do squat to get guns off the street and out of the hands of thugs.
