I know I'm repeating myself, but Caspians quality is so fantastic you're actually getting ALOT for the $$$. The slide hugs the frame rails so tight that you have to perfectly align the slide and frame upon re-assembly. Tripp did my G24 and their work is fantastic, with a very quick turnaround. Metalife also does fantastic work and Ron Mahovsky is one of the most knowledgable and friendly gentleman you'll ever have the pleasure of speaking with.
BTW, told you to get it hardchromed way back Epsylum...
Here's another example of Tripp's work....;)

Will do.

BTW what magwell is that?

Also have you tried the THE extended mag release? I have one on mine and I love it. It is not permanent and makes releasing the mag so much easier (no shifting of the grip needed).

When did you get a 17L?

Why a silver C-more?

I liked the competition mount better than the hunter even though you have to remove the iron sights.

Did you get the polymer body (on the C-more)or the more expensive metal one?

Are you going to change all the springs like I did on my 24?

What is this, 100 questions?

I got it just after Christmas from a mutual aquaintence (hint: one of the winners of the free Glock at last years GSSF match, the one with "lighter" colored hair ;) ).

I went with the hunter and silver C-More because that was what the guy was selling on here. I paid $250 shipped for both the mount and the sight. I thought that was too good a deal to pass up.

It is a polymer body C-more.

Change springs? no. I don't reload 9 so I will just shoot WWB or Blazer Brass out of it, so the springs are fine, unless it has ejection issues with the mount on it.

It's just a range toy. I figured that if I decide I don't want it (the mount and C-more), I could sell it for about as much as I have in it.

The mat is a throwback to my youth when motorcycles were big with me and riding alone in the mountains of Northern California was the way I could clear the worries of the day and deal with the demons from the war.

Hey Steve I had all the info written down but I couldn’t find it any where. I was having reliability issues with factory ammo. Double-taps worked great, my reloads worked great but if you used the lower velocity factory ammo it was stove pipe city. My theory was the slide was too heavy so I lightened the slide and reduced my spring weight by one pound and now it will handle just about anything reliably. I may do a grip reduction and stipple next.

SDGlock23 - thanks for the pic with the lone wolf 6'' barrel. Been looking at those closely for my 35, but had yet to see a pic showing how much they protrude. Attached pic is my 35 w/KKM standard length. And just ignore the CCI Blazer crap ammo and kitty cat coaster supports (factor of my GF's taste and the lure of cheap ammo that shoots like crap).

Nowhere now. Lonewolf had them. They were made in Germany by Oberland Arms. They only made one small batch of about 100 and they are all gone now. Lonewolf is supposed to be working on a US made one, but last I heard it was at least a few years off.

I have a 24C that I bought unfired also. I need to take a few moments and photograph it for this thread.

I'd be interested in one of those 21 slides. Do we have any idea on a time frame? I expect they will go fast. What would be the best way to ensure getting one?

GT member MACJOC's work... aka Gary Wendell
http://www.wendelltacticalconcepts.com/home.htm

His work is remarkable. I sent off my receivers and some mag base plates and he was kind enough to expedite the labor since they are duty guns.

The stipple work to my G34 and G26 is absolutely incredible. The guns arrived UPS overnight yesterday to my PD.

I reassembled them and knocked out some crappy blackberry picture porn.

He did the G34, G26, 3 G26 base plates and 3 standards.

G34/26 each got a 360 degree stipple in WenTac finish and the dust covers done. The price was definately right for what I got done. His prices are listed on his websight and he is kind to LE. ;)

These things feel like they have flypaper on them. I have tried everything from A-Grips, to bike tubes, to Hogue handalls, skateboard tape, etc.

Nothing compares to this.

While I had them apart, I removed the stock sights on the G26 and added CustomGlockRacing's Dawson fiber optic front/Heinie Slant Pro rear combo. Gary was also kind enough to swap out my Lone Wolf 3.5# connector in my G34 for a Glock OE one he had in stock.

I recommend him to anyone who wants the best of the best working on their gun.

I agree. Gary does some outstanding work on guns. I had some contouring work done on my G35 and my better half's XD. He is also very pro-LEO and a great guy to talk to. I love how his stippling looks on guns, but I since I have large hands I need those damn Hogue grips on my guns (except the G20) to increase the size of the Glock grip.
