My Father in Law, Master Sergeant William Thomas Warren, was killed in Iraq a few days ago. The army officials just left my Mother in Law's house a few hours ago after informing her that he was killed in action. He had given one of his men a day off and was standing in as "door gunner" on one of their Blackhawks, when according to eyewitness reports it was shot down. There were no survivors.
He was a great man and you could never have asked for a greater Father in Law.
A good man has given his life while serving our country for us. I think we all need to give him a Farewell Salute. Do me, my wife, and her newly widowed mom a favor. Next time you go out shooting, dedicate 21 rounds to him, and all of our troops that have given their lives in service to our country throughout history.
Thanks,
James
