I apologize for not knowing all the parts names and purposes (still learning)... I have a new-to-me 3rd Gen G21. I field stripped it and noticed that on the trigger bar (right side of magazine area and across from the slide catch [parallel], has a "dent" in it. Dent is concave if looking from the frames left side. Why? I noticed the slide hung up on it when I field stripped it. Normal, I hope? What is the purpose of this part? Again, I apologize for not knowing what this is. I compared to my G19 and it doesn't have it. Just making sure it isn't a problem.

I wish I could take a picture of it (have a camera, but my old Apple is too old for the camera's software:sad:). I know, I need a new computer (still use dial-up too:shocked:). I keep trying to save money for a new computer, but I keep buying guns and ammunition.

The bump on the trigger bar ensures that the bar contacts the firing pin safety just right. It rubs on the slide and will show wear, but is nothing to worry about.

Somehow I thought this was going to be about Winnie the Pooh's alcoholism.

Tigger has been getting a lot of bad press... youtube.com - Tigger Attacks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeXbId2P6Yc)

My mind was working faster than my fingers were... Hand quicker than the eye my butt!

Thanks for the information. My G19 and G37 didn't have it, so I didn't know the G21 did. Can't wait to shoot my G21!

What are the #'s on your triggerbar? If it's 4256, it needs to be upgraded to the revised, 4256-1. I just did this to both my G20 and 21 and also installed NY1 trigger springs in both.It feels great!
