I need to replace the tritium vials on my G17's Meprolight Adjustable sights. I recall some time ago that there are ways to drill out the old vials and install new ones. I also recall that it was a reasonable price.
Anyone have a link for this service? TIA
i wouldn't care how cheap or simple it was considering what's in them i'd buy a new set.
I think Ameriglo will do that for you. Call them, they are very helpful and have a great service.
Err... Have you considered calling Meprolight?
I have a set of Trijicon sights on one of my G36's that are quite dim for 6 year old sights IMO. It cost me $9 for mail/ insurance to the factory and $54 for factory vial replacement since they determined that they were within spec.
Still, $63 is cheaper than for a new set.

ede:
It goes without saying that the repair would be done by a person qualified to deal with the tritium issues.
NoGo: This gun is a Glock refurb , and these sight are really old , and I don't think Meprolight has any liability here, but maybe they can fix them for me. I think a new set of adjustable night sights are over $100
PzGren: I will look into Ameriglo's services
Thanks all for the replies

Midway has Mep Tru Dot Tritium sights for $65.99 if you get FFL/ Dealer prices.

Dang! For that much, they should adjust the bullet's path right to the target. ;)
