Well Folks, I was curious after seeing Colorado Glockers mention of approximately 60 Longslides being out in this great big world, and had visions of building another for the fun of it. At present, there are NO MORE longslides available. Lone Wolf has been out of stock for some time and back around Christmas of 2006, I emailed BarSto and inquired as to the availability from them. They are out also. So what is out there at this time is all there are until another batch is made, if ever. CG do you know if any of these were sold in Europe? Kind of wondered after seeing the Oberland Arms logo on one, as I beleive Oberland is a German company, or is this a different Oberland than makes the rifles? Anyway, I'm glad I got one when I did, but it sure would be neat to have a pair for New York reloads. As if a full mag of DT 10mm through a 6" tube wasn't sufficient for most situations.

Actually may I ask for a high-res of it? That thing is drool worthy and i wouldn't mind adding it to my PC wallpaper rotation. ;)

Steve:
You have every right to be proud of that fine looking firearm. I sure would be if it were mine. From the reaction mine gets at the range from just the BOOM and the "What the he** is that?" comments, I'll bet yours draws a crowd. We just dropped a little lower into the DeepFreeze here in Iowa, so indoor shooting is going to be the norm for a while. BTW, my 10mm LS is presently out on a short loan to see how Iowa Whitetail like it. My employment ties me up too much for any extended hunts, so one of my best buddies is taking it for a test drive. Will report on results (if any) in the near future.
David

PS: Epsylum, just noticed the CZ notation in your sig. Ever hear of Jim Miossi? He lives near me and did the trigger work on my 10mmLS, boy is it sweet.

The local Ikes has both indoor and outdoor ranges. When it gets to
-4 degrees like it was this morning, with a high in the low teens and a wind chill of about -35, for some reason the indoor range gets much more use. Never seen a picture taken here of some snow bunny skiing in a bikini.
Because:
a. No mountains.
b. If she did in this weather, more would be falling off of her than just most of her clothes.
We sure don't get the snow you guys do though, which makes coyote hunting tougher without fresh tracks. Of course if we got as much as you have recently, there wouldn't be much coyote hunting either.

Well, hope you can get out to the range in the reasonable future and try that beauty out. I'm sure it shoots as good as it looks.

I really need a few new pics since I have made a few changes, namely the front FO sight and grip plug (and trigger components which wouldnt be seen anyways).
