I would of never thought of it. I wouldn't think to cut down the grip of a G21 to fit G30 mags. Now, I've heard of Robar, but never been interested in reducing my grip. Now that I've bought my 3rd Gen G21, and heard of all the issues with the bigger grip, I gave Robar's website a look. My hands are big anyway, so I'm not interested in actually doing a grip reduction, but when I saw the picture of a G21 using G30 mags, I was confused at first. I don't have a G30, but it would be logical to have this Robar G21 and a back-up G30 so you could use both mags. However, would the grip be uncomfortable with a smaller grip and full size barrel and slide? One reason I've got read of all my sub guns (Beretta 9000S and G26) was because my grip wasn't uncomfortable. I need all fingers on the gun. Now, my G19 is borderline uncomfortable with the finger grooves too small for my pinky. I've not held a G30, but would think it would be about the same. Of course, Robar can grind the finger grooves, so it might be more comfortable.
If you've never seen it, give it a look Robar's Glock Section (http://www.robarguns.com/glock.htm) .
