View Full Version : 6" or 7.5" .357 sig bbl?
I have decided to try out a longer bbl in my g31. I am going to go with one from IGB. They offer them in any length from 6" to 7.5". If you were in my shoes, would you go with a 6", 7.5", or something in between? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't think you'd be able to slide a 7.5" bbl into the upper as it would be pretty long. They offer it though so it must work. If you're going to get a long bbl might as well get the long one. I'd be interested in the velocity as another member just started a thread yesterday about 1600+fps out of a 6"bbl.
Holy cow. I'd like to see those chrono numbers myself!
Better stay with the 6". The 7.5" barrels droop at the end and shoot low. ;)

Thanks, I didn't even think about that.
