Michigantrainer 02-03-2007, 22:51 WHY? is all i can say............. firecop019 02-04-2007, 05:38 You can try posting over on the Michigan Sportsman Forum. If he's any good I'm sure one the hunters know of him. Most of these guys don't see the sense in having a manual safety and will just flame your thread. robotoid 02-04-2007, 07:58 Originally posted by Michigantrainer WHY? is all i can say............. I'm curious, how long have you been shooting handguns? 'Twas an honest question. centennial 02-04-2007, 11:25 Originally posted by robotoid If your not going to be part of the solution, don't be a part of the problem. Yeah, but you're looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. If you're not comfortable with a gun that doesn't have a manual thumb safety, find another firearm. Adding that safety to a Glock is just begging for problems. Michigantrainer 02-04-2007, 11:34 Wel its a straight forward questiom Why if glock wanted it to have manual saftey it would have had one........ if yo want one get a different gun. period........ i have seen a few of shooters in classes with these that have failed in there guns.. and or they dont practice enough with them and forgot to swipe them.... so much for glock perfection 10 Ring Tao 02-04-2007, 12:24 Originally posted by Michigantrainer i have seen a few of shooters in classes with these that have failed in there guns.. and or they dont practice enough with them and forgot to swipe them.... And this guy would know. In the class I took, it was very interesting to see how often the ones with manual safeties just plain forgot to swipe the safety off. I guess if you're going to carry like that, you better do a hell of lot more repetition than someone with a point and click interface. coverdog 02-05-2007, 13:27 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/coverdog/aw_jeez.jpg MichiganPython 02-07-2007, 12:53 Originally posted by coverdog http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/coverdog/aw_jeez.jpg +1 vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
