How do I remove the wood from and ak gas tube? I am building a romanian model and I got agi builders course and it did not tell me this or assembly of the recever parts. Any help on either of these subjects would be appriciated.
Lots of cleaning , disassembly , and maintainence info
which applies to many AK versions here....

Don't freak out when it splits down the middle...You can get another one pretty cheap.;)

no problem, Im replacing that romanian pos with a kvar piece anyway;)
