I think a fair price for your drum would be $135. Glad I bought mine when they were $14.95! fourtfourmag 02-05-2007, 20:29 Originally posted by Decguns Glad I bought mine when they were $14.95! I was just doing some Forum searches on Chinese variants. And while I was doing that I ran across a number of for sale threads (older ones from as much as a year back) and consistently 75 round chinese were selling for near $150 very quickly. Some say they are now worth more however I have seen a few just recently go for $140 or so. 100 round drums going for $200 and up to $250 and also selling about as fast as they get listed. No bargaining. Just people snapping them up. The problem with Chinese drums is that they have long been illegal to be imported so the supply is doing nothing but dry up. And some variants are fairly rare so they are bringing top dollar. The other thing making them most desirable is that they are the prime choice as they open from the back and can be loaded easily and only tensioned when needed. And so the ammo can be stored in them. The other variants have to be loaded from the mag mouth just like a normal mag. And unloaded the same way. So the Chinese design is much superior and therefore in demand. Plus... as noted.... just not going to be any more come in. What I have been researching is variants of them. I found at least three. Two of those have cut outs in the wind up key. Two different styles of the cut outs. And both of them fairly rare compared to the wind up key's with no cut out (Solid plate key) Here are some variants: http://home.comcast.net/~gunrunner3/yugodrum.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/6256/polydrum6ho8.jpg cphilip 02-18-2007, 17:09 Some Picts of my drum on my Bulgarian SA-93 mutt... http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/cphilip/AKDrum2.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/cphilip/AKDrum3.jpg  Decguns 02-19-2007, 09:14 Originally posted by spober which was a when exactly ???? Most every wholesaler was offering Chi-Com drums for less than $20 through 1997. I bought several dozen from J&G Sales in 1996 for $14.95 each. At the time, I gave 1 Drum and 3 Norinco 30 rd mags with every AK I sold in my shop. The Norinco mags were only $3 ea from Paragon. I also bought a pallet of East German mags from Paragon for $2 ea. fourtfourmag 02-19-2007, 18:45 Originally posted by Decguns Most every wholesaler was offering Chi-Com drums for less than $20 through 1997.
