Where to find used G22s? [Archive]

I'm looking to pick up a used G22 to shoot competition. Does anybody know where to find one (some) in the Charlotte area? I'd probably drive to the triangle area for a good deal.

Your best bet may be Arrington's in Greensboro. I don't recommend them simply because they've always been rude, etc... but if you want one, there's a good place to look.

if you still have a green card "millitary ID card" you can pick up a brand spankin new g22 for around 370 at your nearest law enforcment dealer.

Shooters Express has them for $499 as a package deal. The package includes factory refurbished Glock 22 with night sights. I think you also get some ammo and free range time with that deal.

What kind of competition shooting are you looking at doing?

I called Glock and the only law enforcement dealer they listed is Arringtons. Their hours are 9-5 M-F only so there is no way I can get there.

I wish I could get one for that.

There are two stores in Shelby, NC that sell 'base model' Glocks for less than $500 new. I've looked into the Shooters deal, though.

If you qualify, I believe glock will sell you one and ship it to an FFL. I seriously doubt your going to find a better deal than a blue box Glock.

Not sure how far you are from columbia SC, but Lawmens is an authorised dealer, thats where I got my G27 with night sites for 450.00, or there abouts.

+1 on lawman's. I was there about 2 weeks ago and they had law enforcement trade-ins real cheap. If i'm not mistaken, g22 without finger grooves or rails were $309 plus tax. they had some newer ones with the grooves and rails for $350 plus tax. I don't know what acc. they come with except night sights. After a brief examination, the only thing i saw on the gun was a little finish wear. The guns are probally in perfect mech. condition. Hope this helps.

If nothing else, keep an eye out at Firepower, I bought a used 3rd gen G17 for $350 OTD the other night; it was filthy inside, but still works fine.

if anybody else is looking...

Shooter's Express still has some of the LE trade-in G22's...

factory refurbished, lifetime warranty...includes holster (not sure which one), 50 rounds of ammo, 1 hour of range time and night sights...

these are the 3rd Gen...

$499...and he said he had 4-5 left (as of Monday of this week)...
