This morning I decided to do a little gun shopping. I went to all my local shops looking at XD, M&Ps, Kahrs, revolvers, etc. Each place I eventually gravitated toward the Glock selection. I handled a few, G30s primarily. I could not find one gun out of a few thousand that felt better than my G19. So guess what? I have 2 G19s now, a brand new OD frame.
I have 3 g19's, and love them all....

There is something to be said about having a second copy of your primary pistol.

Four 19's here, and I'm probably going to add "one for the thumb" very soon. The quads also have some twin sibling G17's. The 19 is pretty much my exclusive carry gun, and sees most of the action at the range. The 17's were very recent additions to the stable, I guess because I felt I had to have one. However, the 19 just does everything well.

I've finally settled on the G19 after flings with 22's, 27's and 26's. When I get all the mags, spare parts and night sights I want for my current G19, I have no doubt I'll be picking up another.

Why does one need 5 G19's?
Not that you have to justify why you want something... i'm just wondering what the use is in having so many identical guns.

I have at least five rooms in my house...I'm sure TWS G26 has that many too ;)
of course I only have 3 G19's so what am I to do in the other 2 rooms or more?
Its a disease....first one gun, then another, then another....and more and more and more....!!!
Good for you!;)
Does NZ manufacture 9mm ammo? Just wondering what you guys can buy over there.

We have a couple of companies which do manufacture ammo here, Belmont near New Plymouth does...although most of the guys I know just store-buy what they shoot or reload it like me. We get pretty much everything from the big companies like federal, winchester and remington, CCI and Magtech...probably a few more but seeing as we only use our arms' for target purposes most people just shoot american eagle and stuff thats cheap.
I have a G19 and wanted somthing a little different so I got a G17. Then my wife wanted to carry so guess what she wanted, a G26. Looking at all the guns out there I think that I will get another G19 or will it be a G17?

I can get new Gen 3 Glocks at the LE discount, but I prefer the Gen 2 guns by a very wide margin. I have three Gen 2 G19s so far, and plan to eventually add a fourth one when I find the right deal on a mint to new gun. That one will stay in the safe.
I'm going to get all my guns bought while I still can. I have been through Smith and Taurus revolvers plus a few SP101s, Smith autos, and numerous Glocks. I have settled on the Gen 2 G19 as the best possible option for me. I also have one Gen 2 G23, just in case some crazy new laws are passed outlawing 9MM, or something just as stupid.
is there any differnece besides the grip having finger ridges
on the 3rd gen?

My favorite pistol is my beloved BHP. Now that that is out of the way, my EDC pistol is my dead on reliable, accurate, light, higher ammo count than BHP,,,,, you guessed it, Glock 19.
I just bought a G19 w/ some funds from my recent birthday and my wife wanted to know why I wanted another Glock? I had to explain to her that while I may have a different make of handgn in 9mm I did not own a Glock pistol in 9mm. After holding the G19 in my hand I knew instantly that oh yes, I had to have it. It fits just right in my hand and feels so much smaller than my 92fs.
That makes 3 Glocks for me now, but no fullsize models....... for Christmas I'm thinking a G20 sounds like lots 'o fun! But for right now my new Glock 19 will be my new little carry buddy once I get a holster.
Good luck all you G19 owners and I feel like I'm in some real good company here!

I had two and regret trading one away. I've got a great 26 but am currently looking to trade back to a 19. It just fits my hand a bit better than the 26.
The 19 is just a fine firearm.
