What tools do you folks use to take your Glocks apart? And, Where do you get these tools from (i.e Sears, Walmart, gunstore, etc. etc)
Thanks!

The only thing i need to completely take down a glock is the lone wolf ultimate glock armorer's tool. Well......you need a pair of needle-nose pliers to take out the mag catch spring....but that doesnt need to be replaced very often.
It's only around $20 and has the pin punch, flat head screw driver, brush, front sight nut driver, and it has a pen-like clip. Well worth the money. IMO

it's a great little tool. you can pretty much do anything with it except install/remove rear sights, install crimp-on front sights, and remove the mag catch spring.

I use the factory armorer's tool.
Needle-nosed pliers (non marring) and a small, flat bladed screwdriver - both for the magazine catch and spring. The screwdriver is also used on the old style trigger mechanism housings, to remove the connector.

Whatever's handy, usually factory tool, or Allen wrench sometimes if 'my bag' isn't with me. Typically within reach of a pocket flat-tip & some small pliers. Occasionally change out the worn plastic front sights on LE-trade guns, so a dental pick comes in handy to 'spear' and snatch the pin out of the sight before the replacement goes in. The picks can be had at flea-markets or the clearance bins at your favorite hardware store - mine were 89 cents.

Use this tool a lot in general, working on guns....
Expensive but has a multitude of uses:
