I carry Speer 124gr +P in my G19 and found them to be accurate and completely reliable in feeding. Recoil is enough to let you know you're throwing something serious downrange, but not enough to make a difference in your performance if you are used to using standard "plinking/practice" ammo for regular practice.

I believe this round is the one the NYPD uses in their Glocks.

I think it's a great round for the G19.

+P and +P+ ok in the G19 or the G17. Have seen reports that the G17 is the only pistol that will handle the Geco armor percing round.(as I remember 124gr 9mm 1400fps out of a G17)

If the 17 can handle it, the 19 can too. Same gun just 1/2" shorter barrel and grip.

But that does look a little hot to me.

Any quality factory loaded ammo manufactured to CIP/SAAMI specs should be okay.
