View Full Version : Folding stock issues
Well I picked this up today
And when I fold the stock under the gun it hits the safety, I can work around itwith a little movement of the stock. My concern is that when it is folded I can not move the safety fro "F" to "S" or from "S" to "F". Is this normal at all? Any ideals on how to simply fixed this. I could file down the safety some to make it fit but if there is some other way.....
Thanks for the help.
Sorry the darn picture did not post as I wanted it to. It is a M70AB from Century Arms built on a DC Industries recevier.

I just bought one today and noticed the same thing. I'm not really that concerned, since I have no plans of carrying it around folded and with a round chambered. It would be better if I could use the safety, but I can live with it in this configuration....

Do a search in this forum for posts by MrMurphy. He has one that discusses problems with underfolders.
I read a thread on one of the gun forums and it seems that the highly skilled primates at Century used selector levers from fixed stock Yugo kits in some of their underfolder builds.

I have a Vector Polish underfolder, mine has a cutout to allow the safety to be moved on/off while folded.
In a few moments with a metal file the problem was solved, it works fine now.;)
