Hey folks,
So a couple weeks ago I bought, with much joy, a 50-round box of 165 gr. .40 S&W Winchester Ranger SXT, brand new, for my Glock 22, at the Portland Gun Show.
I've heard many great things about the Winchester Ranger, however, one of the biggest things I've read about them in the gun rags, is that they are restricted to Law Enforcement only, as they even say on the box (Law Enforcement Ammunition).
So, are these rounds legal for civilian carry? Or did I just get sold them by someone who didn't know better (or worse, someone who knew better, but wanted to make $25.00)? And if they are legal, can you tell me the approximate velocity and ft. lbs. of energy from a Glock 22.
Thanks for the info! :beer::thumbsup:
