I've got a friend getting married sometime this fall, I was curious if there were any way I could apply for an out of state permit to carry concealed in texas. I have a permit for ohio, but texas and ohio do not share reciprocity. Anyone have any ideas?

My brother lives in Ohio and has a Florida Non-resident CWL. It allows him to carry in Ohio and TX. I have a TX CCW, so always have my brother around when I visit him. I'll get a Florida CWL before my next visit.

He can apply for a non-res CHL here in Texas.
