Question about taking a gun to the gunshow

I'm planning on going to the gunshow tomorrow in Charlotte and taking a gun to trade/sell. Is there anything I need to know about taking a gun into the merchandise mart?

Most gun shows will check your arms at the door, and "strap" the action so it can't be operated. The one's I have seen use zip ties. Make sure you bring it in unloaded, or they freak out.
