At the risk of sounding rude....you are able to see the sights when lighting is not optimal.

Benefit to Night Sights? I'm just guessing here but perhaps they are designed for use in low light conditions.
BTW, congrats on the new G26.

Great for sighting in low light. The Trijicons on my G22 & 26 glow quite brightly. Plus, I like the sight picture of the 3-dot much better than the standard Glock "U" shape.
And I might add. They're great for finding your Glock in pitch black dark while it sits on the nitestand or in the drawer. Just set it on/in the stand pointing away from the bed, and bingo, three little locator lights pointing you to the gun. Just wake up before the intruder gets to you.

YEAH! Night SIGHTS!!!
dude i just got some for my noise maker...and they rock. I recommend the tricons fiber op/tritium whatever, the Hydrogen isotope one. They rock. You will love em, trust me!
They will even improve your day time sight picture
