Anyone here ever flip the stock rear sight around to get rid of the box? How did it work out for you. I find that white box very distracting. I was planning to do this and install a HiViz front sight. All thoughts are welcome.

I just did this, for the same reason as you. I just recently got my first Glock... a G19. I reversed the rear sight and am shooting it like that until I decide which aftermarket sights to install. IMO, the gun is easier to shoot in this configuration, but the bottom of the front dot is still slightly cut off when the sights are properly aligned. Try it... I doubt you will regret it.

Lotsa guys at local IDPA and other leagues have done the same.
Why not just black out the white? Seems alittle easier to me.
