in CA, where to buy a G34 or G35

i'm looking into buying a G34 or G35. i'm in CA so prices are approx $650ish with DROS and tax. can I get a better deal from an out of state dealer and have them send it to a specified FFL dealer local to me? if so where? how would i approach my local FFL regarding this? i am thinking my local FFL would just want me to pickup a gun from him/her. ohh yeah, some of the GSSF stuff looks fun, which would be better, the G34 or 35?

Bought my G35 from Bullseye in San Rafael CA. Yes, it was $650ish. Bullseye usually has a good selection of guns available.

If you are looking at the 34 or 35 for GSSF and you don't have a 17 or 19 yet I would look at getting one of those first. They are about $70.00 cheaper and each can be used in more catergories in GSSF.

2 matches are in Southern Ca and 1 in Northern Ca.

Only guy in CA I will buy guns from is in Elk Grove, CA. The owner is very nice, friendly and honest. He also has numerous neon signs and other western stuff available. The place is just fun to check out.

Just keep in mind that most of the dealers out of state will be carrying the G34/35s with high capacity magazines (normal capacity to the rest of the world). You would have to have them not ship the mags and would then have to purchase California legal 10 rd mags. That additional cost would have to be factored in. It is doubtful any California FFL would accept a transfer w/ the high caps and risk their license.

I got my G35 from GSSF $100+ less, if I were to buy one in CA. Buying one in CA, you will end up paying $700+ with taxes, DROS fees.

If you can't wait, look online and shop around.

Digging up an old post, but I went to Wild Bill's and he was almost $100 more on his G21 than the Gun Room. Now I don't mind buying for a little more if I will get better service. Is he really that much better than The Gun Room?
