Central Ohio Glock Talk Shoot

Any folks interested in this?
At the range today in New Albany, and the range manager mentioned that other GTs had been in asking.
We can have half the range for $65/hr. and the classroom for delivered pizza. this is a modern facility with rentals and retail sales. For example, this weekend the Ruger Days are going with give-aways and free rentals.

I thought that for about $10/person we might be set. Ammo can be bought by a member for 5% off.

Post here if interested, dates, times, etc. that would be good.

What kind of shoot are you thinking of?

Do not know; open to suggestions.
We have done Bowling pins, IDPA, Bullseye there.
Could be open shoot, where everyone could try other Glocks and calibers.
I am easy.;f

Count me in. Don't have much opinion on format as all I do is punch holes in paper, but if people are willing to teach, I'm willing to learn.

I'm from eastern Ohio ,but i'd be interested.my wife goes to Columbus alot to visit her daughters & isn't New Albany just east of Columbus?Needs to get just a little warmer though.;a

The New Albany range is an indoor range.

For those on the east side of the state, there is Rayner's Range(Zanesville). It is an outdoor range. Great place and people. I should be there this Thursday for some practice and there is also an action pistol match this Sunday (10th).

If you want to shoot the match let me know. I am full of trivial information. I'd be happy to share. Matches are some of the best learning tools. No need to be "good to compete". They are just for fun.

Count me in everyone. I have been to New Albany a number of times (I am a memeber...which reminds me I need to re-new that very soon). Great place to shoot, awesome selection of rentable guns, and the staff knows their stuff and is very helpful. I would say it's about 20-25 minutes from downtown, so those who have never been adjust your times accordingly.

I've always dinged pop cans and paper there....so I guess I would have to vote for a bowling pin shoot, though I think just getting together as a group and shooting would be cool. I see someone posted about GSSF matches this summer...could someone explain those to me please....

In addition, what do any of you Central Ohio (or very close to it)Glocking folk think about throwing a small web page together (either stand alone or a sub-directory of my current page)that we could all contribute to in order to keep in touch, share shooting/gun stories, and possibly try to set up future group shoots? Let me know and I will do whatever I can to help.

Also, are there any Central Ohio Glockers who are also interested in thrashing a few clay targets some odd weekend?
