View Full Version : good deal on a G22?
i've found a blue label, NIB G22 with 3 15rnd mags, trijicons and an extended slide release for $495+$15 shipping. these are apparently from a LE dept. purchase that fell through.
the $495 seems to be about the local NIB price on standard glocks. the extra mag and night sights seem to be a pretty good deal for the price. i went out to knob creek this morning to buy some primers and all their NIB glocks were $489 IIRC.
any thoughts?

So you would be paying $510 + a transfer fee (at least $20-25) for a used LE trade-in night-sighted Glock 22, when you can get a brand new night sighted Glock 22 for $515 at Bud's and probably most other local stores??? If you don't really need the night sights, a G22, NEW with 2 15 round mags, should run about $463-480.
I just sold a used Glock 22 with night sights for $375.00 and I could easily pick up another one for $400-425.
I would say $495 for a used G22 is a terrible deal.
you missed the NIB part, huh?
this isn't used, a trade-in or a refurb, it is NIB. these were apparently made and delivered for a PD in MO and they backed out of the deal. a local dealer bought the NIB pistols and is selling them. they are unissued, just as they came from the factory . . . .
did i mention they were NIB yet? :)

can't see why that wouldn't be a good deal for a brand new gun from a local dealer...
...but then I paid more than that for my basic G22 from shooters supply lol

actually, the dealer is in missouri, so i'd have to add $15 shipping and $25 tranfer, but that probably ends up less than local sales tax, which i wouldn't have to pay.
anything is cheaper than shooter's supply. i'd drive to missouri before i paid their full price on a pistol  .
