it's limited by your cable system.
and dont count on 11Mbs download forever. It will go down as more people sign on.
Yeah, for clarification, your connection speed for broadband is often two-fold. One speed for download, one for upload. Generally the upload speed is much slower.

Your upload rate is on the high side of typical.
that's a sucky upload IMO.
I use residential roadrunner. about 5,000 down, and nearly 1,000 up.

Thats about the same for me. RR and 5-6000 down bouncing all up and down the scale and a pretty consistant 750K-1000K upload.
makes one wonder where all that BW is going to when I am scking dirt.
Comcast sells different levels. If you want a higher upload level, be prepared to pay a lot more however!
You might find the pricing on their website, otherwise a call to CS should get you the bad news.

Typical performance, didn't you read your connection contract?

This was the best I could get from a server in NY. The server closer to home was alot slower. I have Comcast with their lowest tier.

I'm less than 1/2 mile from the switch or Co-op.
I'm on the 6mb/768kb plan they offer for 34.99 a month.
I like this site for reliable throughput tests:
