In the 60's I'm positive I was bumped off commercial aircraft while flying military standby by college students flying standby.
Can anyone else back this statement?

In the 60s maybe; I doubt it would happen today.

I really don't know for sure since I never flew military standby. Back then (and maybe still today) you could fly military reserved, which was more than standby but less than regular fare.

Another thread about airline policies got me thinking. Googling it didn't help and being retired I think of all kinds of BS that has to do with nothing, that's part of the job description. That being said, what the hell do you care what I think about??? :)
