If you purchase ammo locally, where do you usually go? So far, I've been purchasing online, but shipping is a bear. I wanted to find some local, affordable places to acquire ammo (right now just pistol: 9mm and .45 ACP). I guess the Walmarts don't carry anything in this town.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried Bass Pro shops? They run some decent deals at times.

You're back.. how was your trip to La Canada?
I used to order online and it's not worth it. I get my 9mm WWB at Wal-Mart and get my Speer Gold dots 124 P+ at my local gun store on Sahara. It's a bit more because of the state tax but it's definitely still wayyyyyy cheaper as buying it online and paying the shipping costs. And I like to support the locals so now I only buy in Vegas. I did the same with my gun accessories and I ended up paying more shopping online.
Hope to hit the range soon!

The trip was fine. Much greener than here.
However, I'm much happier being back in gun-friendly Nevada.
Which Wal-marts sell ammo? The Super-Duper one here on S. Ft. Apache only sells some shotgun ammo. I'd rather not have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. Thanks.
I went to the one on 7175 Spring Mountain/Rainbow (N36°07.552'W115°14.985°. They were loaded with ammo last time I was there. I paid $14.56 for 100 WWB 115 fmj. They also had .45 ammo.

If you are talking about south ft. apache and trop they still have ammo i believe. It is behind the counter facing the wall now though. Have also seen ammo displays at Cheyenne and Rainbow, Centennial, and Craig and Nellis

I've bought WWB 9mm ammo at the Wal-Mart at Sunset and Marks in Henderson.

I have had decent luck (40SW, 9mm, 45ACP) at the Wal-Mart on Charleston between Valley View and Decatur.

I always buy WWB handgun ammo and cheap shotgun shells from the Wal-Mart on Trop near UNLV. Bass Pro has had 5.56 the cheapest lately, and Speer Gold Dots are expensive no matter where you buy em.
